Happy New Year Guys,

I hope that you all had a wonderful christmas and a happy new year 2011. my new year started out great, i just found out that i won a contest by reeleesweet for a blog response!yay! i have never won anything before... how cool is that! thank you Rhea!

Elf makeup brushes

hi guys,

So i ordered the elf studio 11 piece brush set for $30 US, i got it at the half off sale with shipping it came up to $23 US.... AND when i compared this set to my sigma brush set. Guess which one i liked better?

This set was much better that the $100 and something US dollars  i paid for the Sigma brushes, and they did not have the nasty chemical scent that Sigma had AND they did not bleed dye all the damn time like the Sigma Brushes.  So if i had to recommend a brush set, you know what guys... go with elf, their quality is far better than Sigma. 

PS. the damn Sigma brushes still bleed profusely after all that washing. Sigma you need to do a whole lot better than this!!!!

Guess what came in the mail today......

I so super excited to share with you all...that my Sigma Brushes came yesterday!!! i order it on the black friday sale when they had the free international shipping. its been here since 8th of December, but got it in the mail yesterday. Thanks TTPost!. Any ways here are just a few pics of them. i will update my blog when i use them.

This is the brush roll, sorry i couldn't take a pic of the brushes in the kit as i just cleaned them and they are still drying. My thoughts so far on the brushes -  they are incredibly soft however when i washed them they turned the water blue and had a high chemical scent (reminded me of the hairdressers salon) and even washed they are still bleeding the blue chemical especially the powder and the duo fibre brushes. i think i may have to clean them again before using them. The scent is extremely high.

This cost $117 US and $57TT to clear it. It also came with a cute little pink mirror than can with a little sigma bag.

So adorable, and an extra travel sized blending brush. (the bristles are still wet)



In my opinion this set is looks like more of a beginners kit to me than the professional ones i have used. i will update this post when i get to use them.

Products that i'm loving

Hi everyone,

This is my first time blogging so i hope i don't ramble too much. For this blog i would really like to list my top favorite products. I have been using these products for a while now and I'm on my second and third bottles in each. I will not be doing products that i love every month because its not feasible for me to love a new product every month. Here goes,

My first product would have to be the Aveeno body wash with pomegranate and rice. It is the most luxurious body wash I've ever used and trust me I've used plenty different types. my skin is usually so dry that as soon after i show i have to use cream. With this baby, my skin looks and feels nourished even without the cream. (TT34 in pennywise). 

My second product would have to be the Aveeno fig and Shea Butter Body wash. I use this in the morning and the pomegranate and rice in the night. The Pomegranate and rice has a gritty texture that gives a light exfoliation whereas this is a creamy smooth texture.

Next it would have to be the Neutrogena makeup remover cleansing towelettes. This product removes every trace of my makeup. Nuff said. (Cost TT35 dollars in Hi Lo)

My next product would  be the Planet  Spa palm desert rose clay facial cleanser. This product is the only facial cleanser i have tried that works. It actually works! My face looks and feels clean after using this. (TT 24 from AVON rep).

 This is the skin milk facial moisturiser and its enriched with Vitamins A,D & E. Its the first moisturiser that i do not break out from. Cant remember how much i paid, but i bought this at Hi lo, it probably cost between $35 to $45 dollars.

This is the Sun Wear daily sunscreen lotion with SPF 50 . This product combined with the others have really cleared up my skin tremendously. I use this after i moisturise and before my foundation. (TT 54 Mid way Pharmacy)

My final and most loved product would have to be the loreal Hip flawless liquid makeup . This gives a flawless finish. I use this product on clients and myself and the finish given is amazing. This also has SPF 15 in it.( $65 pennywise).

So that's a look at the products that i am currently using. I love how these products have evened out my skin tone and helped with clearing up my pimples. Stay safe guys.
